Who we are
We Buy Homes Fast is a trading name of A&H Sourcing Ltd (a subsidiary of A&H Legacy Group Ltd), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17025034), registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.
For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we are the data controller for the personal information you provide. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZC092893.

What we collect
Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:
- Contact details — your name, address, email and telephone number.
- Property information — the address, condition, tenure, any mortgage or charges, and your reason for selling.
- Your circumstances — anything you choose to tell us about your situation and timescales. Some of this may be sensitive, and we use it only to work out how we can help.
- Verification documents — photo ID and proof of address, which the law requires us to obtain before any sale completes.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and data from QR codes or tracked links in our marketing.
How we collect it
Directly from you (our website forms, by phone, by SMS reply, or in response to our letters); automatically through cookies when you use the site; and from public sources such as HM Land Registry where we need to confirm ownership.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and assess your property — legitimate interests.
- To make an offer and progress a sale — steps prior to, and performance of, a contract.
- To carry out identity and anti-money laundering checks — legal obligation.
- To send marketing, only where you have opted in — consent.
- To improve and secure our website — legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We may share it with:
- Solicitors and conveyancers acting on a transaction.
- Surveyors, valuers and contractors assessing the property.
- Identity-verification and anti-money laundering providers.
- A third-party purchaser or investor — where your property is bought by, or introduced to, someone other than us directly. We will always tell you who is acquiring your property before you commit.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf, under written agreement (our CRM, cloud storage, scheduling, SMS and form providers).
- HMRC and other authorities where the law requires it, including under anti-money laundering rules.
Keeping your data, and where
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose collected and to meet our legal obligations. Anti-money laundering records are held for five years after a transaction completes, as the law requires. Enquiries we do not proceed with are reviewed and deleted within 24 months. Some providers may store data outside the UK; where they do, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place so it receives equivalent protection.
Marketing
We only send marketing by SMS or email where you have given consent. Every message includes a way to opt out, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Opting out of marketing does not affect communications about a sale you are already progressing.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to make the site work, understand how it is used, and measure the response to our marketing (including QR codes and tracked links). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, request portability, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact data@alexanderharvey.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
